Procrastination
Okay, so I finally got around to writing this article. Thankfully, you got around to reading it. Chances are, if you're reading an article about procrastination, there is something you could be doing right now that is more important. So why are you reading about procrastination instead of doing what needs to be done? Think about the things you put off doing. You don't procrastinate about cashing a paycheck. Most people don't put off surfing the internet or taking a nap. In fact, there are probably things you routinely accomplish in record time. The Power of Instant Gratification
What's the difference between the things you take care of and the things you put off? The things you take care of quickly are either enjoyable, or there's an immediate reward in having them done. Conversely, the things you put off tend to be unpleasant, or the benefits of having them done don't seem very enticing. The problem is that these unpleasant tasks can pile up and seem overwhelming. Then it gets really easy to put them off just a little more, because who wants to begin a project with no end in sight? What reward is there in that? See the Light
Hypnosis can help you to see the long-term consequences of procrastinating. It can help you to form a clear picture of the benefits of getting things done. When there are consequences attached to your actions, your motivation will increase dramatically. Form a Plan
Sometimes the solution is as simple as forming a plan. You need to find out how and when you're making poor use of your time. Sometimes the things you're spending time on just aren't that important to you. You need to be sure you're making good use of every second of your day. Get it Together
