Stage Performance

Auditions. Rehearsals. Live Theatre.

Live Television. Improvisation.

If I had to admit having a "specialty" when it comes to hypnotherapy, it would have to be performing for the stage.   In addition to my experience as an anchor and producer for a major news network, I have written, directed, hosted and performed in live shows at a major improv comedy theatre in Atlanta (Whole World Theatre), and I perform as a comedy stage hypnotist at public and private venues on a regular basis.

I've been around a lot of actors, and I've worked with a lot of actors.   I've done hypnosis with actors at every level, from students all the way up to professional actors and instructors.

Bottle the Essence

Regardless of the level of their training or experience, there are times when every actor is at his or her best, and times when they are not. It usually has something to do with confidence, but sometimes it's a completely different issue.

What I often ask of the actors I work with is: "Wouldn't it be nice if you could bottle the essence of what it is that happens when you perform at the peak of your ability?   How would you like to be at your best all the time?"

Focus. Focus. Focus.

When actors recall a great performance, they say things like "I felt completely natural" or "I forgot the audience was even there."  The reason is that their attention was intensely focused on their performance.   They were really living in that moment.

When they recall a lesser performance, they'll say "I was distracted" or "I was worried that the audience wasn't buying it," or they were telling themselves "Don't screw up."  In short, they had things on their mind other than the moment taking place on the stage.

This is NOT Acting Lessons.

If you are an actor or performer, you've either absorbed plenty of instruction and taken numerous classes already, or you're taking classes right now.   Hypnosis is not a substitute for acting lessons.   Hypnosis will help you get the most out of yourself.   It will help you to maximize your potential.   You will perform at your highest level more often than ever before.

Eliminate Doubt. Eliminate Fear. Have Fun Out There!

You are always at your best when you are confident, relaxed, focused and having fun.   If you would like to feel this way every time you set foot on stage, every time you are in front of the camera, or every time you have an audition, give me a call.   I can help you make it happen.
